And yes everyone here is being polite, just trying to present the other side too.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4673639169019002933.post-88332552835270236662009-02-17T07:23:00.000-08:002009-02-17T07:23:00.000-08:00i see we are discussing pants for women. i sometim...i see we are discussing pants for women. i sometimes talk at mass to point out something important to the wife who's mind tends to wander or is easily distracted by children at mass. i know i should wait till after mass but often something else comes along.Smileyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04458504641419416339noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4673639169019002933.post-4631824711268603502009-02-07T15:19:00.000-08:002009-02-07T15:19:00.000-08:00Whereas in contrast, in the St. John Chrysostom Li...Whereas in contrast, in the St. John Chrysostom Liturgy silence is rare. There's almost always chanting or singing. It's just the culture it came from. At any rate, I'm glad you came to our church, and even happier you have a silent atmoshphere in your church where prayer is possible. God bless! Send me an email if you ever come again. It would be nice to meet up with a fellow BC blogger!paramedicgirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17524363951843887071noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4673639169019002933.post-41447030156845667292009-02-02T19:18:00.000-08:002009-02-02T19:18:00.000-08:00When I went to Holy Family in August there was a l...When I went to Holy Family in August there was a lady who whispered to me in the church before Mass (during the Rosary) because she was trying to help me with the missal. Also a little boy in the back row was making noise (as kids do) and his (bare-headed, pants wearing grandma) had to shush him until he was taken out. I was surprised that half the women in that church were wearing pants and not wearing veils. I go to a NO Mass at home and silence before and after Mass is not an issue here.Xhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08046773358292402621noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4673639169019002933.post-86627631371325115612009-01-28T15:23:00.000-08:002009-01-28T15:23:00.000-08:00as you know, there is zero talking at our chapel:)...as you know, there is zero talking at our chapel:) not even in the hallway:) no one would ever talk in the hallway, let alone whisper. its unheard of in our church. respect is an absolute must. iam greatful we have it and that people are respectful of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.Michelehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00550875376593955659noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4673639169019002933.post-35619406409349318552009-01-28T09:55:00.000-08:002009-01-28T09:55:00.000-08:00Amen!Amen!Joe of St. Thérèsehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06506671882770822003noreply@blogger.com
