I see the Conciliar church has another house of worship under construction. Of course, if one were suspicious, one might question just who (whom?) or what is being worshiped in such houses.
Further, if one were a resident of the Diocese of Oakland, one might almost wish that one's diocese had been forced to declare bankruptcy before such an abomination of desolation could be raised as a blight on the skyline of one's fair city.
You see, you thought that throwing millions of dollars at sleazy plaintiff's lawyers because of the misdeeds of pervert priests was all bad. Not so. It obviously prevents mischief like this being pulled off by liberal chancery rats in said bankrupt dioceses. However, bankruptcy only lasts 7 years. This hideous structure they're raising in Oakland might stand for centuries. Especially since it's been hardened against any divine retribution (or architectural criticism if you prefer) in the form of earthquakes by “friction pendulum double-concave bearing isolators." It might require a tidal wave to take this thing out. I'm just sayin'.
Having said all that, I thought I would create my own motivational poster for those in the USCCB who seem bereft of all common sense and good taste. Don't worry, people. You're winning. Big time. In spite of motu proprios and such like, you're winning. You've isolated us traddys in our own little ghettos. You've co-opted the neos. You've gotten millions spent on modernist trash like the Oakland cathedral. Yes indeed. You've truly managed to sing a new church into being.
