We have a retired Redemptorist priest saying Mass for us for three weeks, while our other priest is in Arizona. He took us all by surprise today when he totally skipped the sign of peace, and went straight to the Agnus Dei. That really got me smiling!
Then he requested a Thomas Aquinas hymn to open the adoration, and he even stayed to make a holy hour. And I bet he knows his Latin. I wonder if we can keep him?
