Microchips: The Subtle Assault

Interesting article from the Toronto Star about the inevitable future of microchipping all members of society. Kevin Haggerty presents a frightening and interesting hypothesis of how this could come about in the West, with very little resistance from society. The article presents the view of gradual acceptance, using justifiction for microchipping terrorists and criminals as paving the way to a broader and eventual complete implanting of all society.

Far fetched fear mongering? Microchips have already been implanted in willing groups of people, and their use is gradually gaining acceptance as a convenience of technology. All this makes me wonder why there is a desire to control every aspect of our lives, and who is at the helm. Why do we need to become an electronic number? I just want to be left alone, thanks.
