Chair of St Peter

The lost art of the Catholic Church, where architectural and sculptural masterpieces were once creative bursts of the love the artist had for God.

It's not surprising then, that many of the great Catholic artists who produced such magnificent work that was capable of elevating our hearts and minds to God, were sincere, faithful Christians who led deeply spiritual prayer lives. Whatever happened to the artistic beauty that used to be synonymous with the Catholic religion?

Just walk into one of our modern Novus Ordo Churches, and weep for all that has been lost.
