A Dominican Bluegrass Mass?

Hey Anita and Mark, what's with this Dominican Bluegrass Mass next door to you in Seattle, Washington? Do Dominicans do that sort of thing?

Watch for John's slam-down post; should have it at Dominican Idaho in the next few days...

Oh, you have to be kidding me! I used to attend a very solemn Dominican Rite Mass (Tridentinesque), said by Father Fulton at Blessed Sacrament...that is until he was ordered to no longer say that Mass. It was my understanding that the Dominicans are no longer teaching their seminarians this Rite and letting the 800+ year-old Mass go the way of the dinosaurs. Had a hard time finding a church to attend when I lived in Seattle. Guess things haven't gotten any better. And, since when is Seattle the Blue Grass Capital? I could almost understand a grunge Mass.

So does this mean I can have my Rachmaninov Mass now?
