Road to Hell?

Here's an amazing array of photos of an incredibly hair raising road in South America. Be thankful you don't have to drive on it! Every trip down this road must feel like a narrow escape! This was originally sent to me as a Power Point slide show, but I couldn't get it to load here in that format. Thanks Tom, for converting all these slides to JPEG for me.

How far to the Church?

Are we there yet?

I hope I make it to Mass on time.

I wish I had of gone to confession this morning.

Say your prayers!

Our Father, Who art in heaven...

Oh, I just added the church part in there to give it a Catholic theme. This is a Catholic blog, after all! ;}

That's like something out of the RoadRunner cartoons.

Oh my goodness...I could never drive one of those roads. I would be a nervous wreck.

I am not driving down that road ever.

One of those little bitty smart cars would be good there... or maybe ride a mule like they do in the Grand Canyon!

Oh man, this is not what I needed to see PG, right before letting my eldest drive my car for the first time with me in the passenger seat.

I want to see what may kill me or perhaps what my son may kill...he has a nasty habit of hugging the curb-line...AHHH--RUN, RUN YOU PEDESTRIANS, THE ROADS ARE NO LONGER SAFE!!!!

PG-

I hope that you did not spew any liquids on your keyboard :)

I feel a bit better now that I had the car blessed..I thought the priest would laugh at me but I explained the "why" of why I was looking for a blessing and he totally understood, Like we all knew he would :)

Where exactly is this road(other than betwixt Heaven and Hell and Bolivia!) ?

Jim! Good to see you around here again! :}

The first slide says the location is Bolivia, South America, a place called Stramnaya Road, AKA "the road of death." Very aptly named, I think.
