A Female Antichrist?
I am not an Oprah fan. So when I came across this article by LifeSite News, that calls Oprah a "spiritual crack dealer," and "the most dangerous woman in the world," I have to agree. When Oprah "blesses" a book, it becomes a best-seller overnight. I'm not sure how or why she has so much influence, but there is an army of Oprah gurus all over the world sucking up every New Age philosophy that comes out of her mouth. If you watch Oprah's show, do yourself a favour and read the article.

i fail to see how Oprah can be the "antichrist". In the Bible they say it will be a man,and a man from the middle east. Which she is none of. Also she doesn't preach about being a "god". Which the antichrist will be preaching that. It just doesn't go with what Bible says.

artful frog, there have been many Antichrists throughout history. Just think of Stalin and Hitler to name a few. Neither I nor the article is saying that Oprah is THE antichrist, just that she is anti Christ. And she certainly has made herself to be her own little goddess of her own little world, hasn't she?
Hi paramedic girl. I disagree with you on this, the antichirst is not many but one. hence hitler and all the others mentioned are not the antichirst.
The antichirst (liar like his father and not original at all) will copy everything that Christ did. He will come from the same geographic area (though he may not live there, he could be born there) He will establish a fake kind of peace and prosperity in the world and create all sorts of miracles. (remeber jesus said that in the last days they will say there he is and there he is) People will blindly follow him. But true catholics will know he is the antichirst becasue all hsi teachings will not correspond at all to any of the teachings on the ONe HOly ROMAN APOSTOLIC AND CATHOLIC CHURCH.
We are living very very close to seething all of this happen. I can suggest a very very good book if you buzz me.
smiley, I should not have capitalized antichrist in my last comment. I'm not saying Stalin and Hitler ate THE Antichrist, just that they are antichrist. There is a difference. THE Antichrist will be as you say, but his little prototypes running around are setting the stage for him. And yes, Oprah is one of them.
Personally Paramedic girl is horribly wrong. Oprah has been out for so many years doing a lot of good. Shes helped thousands of people, with her money and through the public. As far as i'm concerned she hasn't performed any miracles. Yeah helping people is awesome, but lets face it she hasn't given us the cure for cancer. My point is that her reputation has been built up throughout the years. And a really good one. Not because of this antichrist stuff.
