It is folly to be unwilling to think of death, which is certain, and on which eternity depends, but it would be still greater folly to reflect on it and not prepare for judgment. Make now the reflections which you would make at your death, for they may be made now with profit; then without profit; now with confidence of saving your soul; then with diffidence as to your salvation.

Shirley and Smiley, you are both right. Preparation for Death is such an excellent book. As soon as Tan puts it back in print (this winter) I am going to order some copies to give away to my readers. Of course, I am going to make them work for them a little bit, LOL! I'll dream up some kind of contest they will have to win.
