OK, I'm not mad or anything. It's just time for me to go. Dr. Bombay has served his purpose, such as it was. I'm spending some time traveling the internet deleting all of his incarnations. Some don't allow deletions, so he'll just have to fade away. We can say he died of cancer of the pseudonym.
Thanks to Paramedic Girl for her hospitality. This is a much better blog without me. It has a nice spirit. Which I, sadly, do not.
I'm having a bit of a spiritual crisis at the moment. If you are so inclined, you may say a prayer for me. I'd like to blame it all on the devil, but I'm not sure the devil exists.
Parting advice:
If you have an opportunity to study philosophy, don't.
Being is. Not being is not. [See what I mean?]
The Oakland Athletics suck.
Don't trust anyone. That way you'll never be disappointed.
Be good. It might matter someday.
And always remember, at the end of the day we're doomed.

been nice posting with you doc. take care. God bless you.
Think of it this way; at the end of the day, we win. We've got Him in our corner.
Of course the devil exists; who do you think is tormenting you with a spiritual crisis??
As to your second point- being is to love and glorify God. And you may just be right about the Oakland A's!
Repeat after me, Jesus I trust in you.
And, silly man, you do have people praying for you- every day with my rosary.
Cowboy up!
I'm surprised at you - the devil's greatest trick is to make people think he doesn't exist. You're way too intelligent to fall for that one.
I agree with you on philosophy. To me being is just a verb.
If you can't trust anyone else, place all your trust in God. But we should be doing that anyway.
Remember too, that at the end of the day, we are judged by God. Only those who deny Him are doomed. Have faith!
The A's aren't as bad as my Mariners, so worry not.
We're not doomed if we're in the state of grace :)
I am sorry to read of your struggles. I will be praying for you.
God bless
Therese
Of course the devil exists! How else can you explain the existance of both the Oakland A's and Philosophy?
Tomarrow is St. Michaels Day, I'll ask him to help you out.
"I'm having a bit of a spiritual crisis at the moment."
I have about two ar three of those per day, but I'm still here.
Best of luck to you.
