Who said it?

"If you say the Rosary faithfully until death, I do assure you that, in spite of the gravity of your sins you shall receive a never-fading crown of glory. Even if you are on the brink of damnation, even if you have one foot in hell, even if you have sold your soul to the devil as sorcerers do who practice black magic, and even if you are a heretic as obstinate as a devil, sooner or later you will be converted and will amend your life and will save your soul, if-- and mark well what I say-- if you say the Holy Rosary devoutly every day until death for the purpose of knowing the truth and obtaining contrition and pardon for your sins."

My first guess was the Cure of Ars. Then I cheated and googled the first line. I wont ruin it for others

The saint quoted is one of my favorites, and is said to have designed the "Ladder Rosary". Others say the design was influenced by his famous vision of the two ladders.

St Louis Mare De Montfort in the book Treasures of the Rosary or True devotion to Our Lady

Smiley, yes it is St Louis Montfort in his book Secret of the Rosary. Now you didn't go and Google that , did you?

No I did not goggle it. St Louis Marie de Montfort has a style of writing which is unique. Actually the translations come across as unique as he wrote in french.
IN True devotion the English translation says you give Mother Mary an egg and she gives you a cow.
I could not understand why he would say something like that till my brother told me that he used to write in french. It translates to if you give her an oeuf (egg) she will give you a boeuf (cow). Thus indicating the generosity of our Lady.

Well, this just proves that google is not infallible. The quote I read was attributed to St Francis De Sales
