The Priests

Have you heard of The Priests? They can sing! Have a listen to a wonderful harmonic version of Panis Angelicus, above, and below, Irish Blessing. You can order their CD's from Amazon. It certainly is unusual for priests to be touring concerts and recording CD's. They all have voices that glorify God. I like that they perform in their clerical clothing.

I have a dvd of theirs. It is one of my favourites to listen to. I find the music very peaceful and soothing.

If they sing their liturgies as well as they sing on their CD, their parishoners are very blessed indeed.

What is good is that in their deal with the record company their pastoral duties come first and their touring or other promotional activities are fit in when they are able.

Owen, glorious indeed!
Nancy, thanks for that info, I am so happy they are not losing sight of their primary responsibility - the salvation of souls.

It's great to see they're getting recognised well outside the UK.

I've featured them on my Blog in the past, as well as another local priest Father Francis Maple, who has recorded many songs and raised £1m for charity. He's on You Tube.

God bless.

Wow, thanks... I'd never heard of them. I need to get around more. Beautiful voices and a lovely rendition of Panis Angelicus.
