Another SSPX Fairy Tale

I've just learned over at the infallible Catholic Answers that women in SSPX are not allowed to drive! I'm really glad I resisted the temptation to join the SSPX now, otherwise I wouldn't be able to drive this:

this,

or this, which means I wouldn't be able to do my job (the ambulance, of course, not the crash test car!)

Makes me wonder where some people get their information. SSPX are traditional Catholics, not Amish, for heaven's sake!

I have concluded that I need to be VERY picky about who I get information from on CAF.

Hey, I read your complaint letter. CAF is down again.

Did you send it???

The complaint letter was wishful thinking on my part. Only you and Karin received it. Hey, ya don't think it crashed their site, do ya??

netmilsmom-
were you getting info from a nontoe-tag again :)
paramedicgirl-
the letter was great...but I dont think it is the cause for the mini crash last night.

Girls I have to say that it really was a pleasure posting on CAF yesterday...the "Posse" made very few appearances..YEAH!

Great post. I am a member of an SSPX Church. YOu are correct, its just traditional in the faith and practice, but not fundamentalist Protestant or anything like that. But, my bigger question is why do some Novus ordo Churches copy the contemporary ways of the Protestants? Some in my area have even did away with private confession.

PMG,
Thanks for pointing out another Novus Ordo lie. I'll admit, I'm somewhat bias.

I use to attend Mass as celebrated by an SSPX priest (the drive was too much every Sunday - over 300 miles).

But like Cardinal Castrillon-Hoyos, I firmly believe that the SSPX IS a part of The Catholic Church.

Thanks again, buddy!!!

Vir & Dave, I have been to six SSPX Masses in my lifetime, and I have two sisters, one brother and my mom who all go to the SSPX church. It is the most beautiful, reverent Mass I have ever been to. They really know how to get it right. If I lived closer, I would go more often. Out of love for the TLM, of course!!! :)
