A Progenitor or a Parent?

Well, if you live in Spain, you are legally the progenitor of your child. More precisely, if you are the mother, you are Progenitor A, and if you are the child's father, you are Progenitor B. In Canada, the law no longer refers to a natural parent, just to a legal parent. There are more proposed changes underway in other countries, all being forced on society’s children by the acceptance of gay marriages and reproductive technology to the exclusion of a child's right to be raised in his natural, biological family. The rights of the child have been forgotten in the mad rush to accomodate this new revolution in parenthood.
