More Signs the Motu Proprio is Actually on its Way

What a joy it will be when the Motu Proprio is finally released and the Catholic faithful will have access to the Mass that we have been deprived of for so long. Many, if not most priests will not be able to say the Tridentine Mass, though, without special instruction and training.

In steps the Institute of Christ the King. They are offering live-in training seminars for priests and deacons who want to learn the Tridentine Mass. And who better to learn it from than these priests who "celebrate the classical Roman Liturgy in its traditional form according to the liturgical books promulgated in 1962 by Blessed Pope John XXIII."

It's hard to imagine anyone, including priests, desiring to still celebrate the plain, dreary Novus Ordo Mass after they have had the privilege of experiencing the ancient treasure of the traditional Roman liturgy, celebrated unchanged for so many centuries. It will be interesting to see how many Novus Ordo priests accept this training opportunity and become attached to the Tridentine Mass, and begin to offer it in their own parishes.
