Unicef - will you donate?

In a few days, the streets will be full of little ghosts and goblins trick or treating for as much candy as they can stuff into their fluorescent bags. While these cute little kids are at your door, some will produce a Unicef box and ask for money to help needy children in third world countries. Before you dig into your piggy bank, you should know that Unicef supports and promotes abortion in third world countries.

In 2004, Unicef lobbied against a law that required parental support for underage girls to have abortions, and in 1996, when the Vatican withdrew its token support of Unicef, the agency became more open about its participation in birth control programs for third world countries. So even though the coins you drop in the Unicef box this Halloween could go towards helping impoverished children, it is just as likely they will be used for abortion, sterilization or birth control to help keep the third world populations under control. It's your decision. For more information on the Unicef agenda, check out LifeSite News' Unicef page.

Ah yes, UNICEF. I know these "humanitarians." These I did know about and don't worry, they won't get so much as monopoly money from me!

BTW, PG, I like the things you wrote of the fraudulent priest's blog. Him and I have been going at it for about three days now.

Poor, poor, ...whatever he is.

oh and one other thing, in our city, they are not using unicef boxes door to door this year. what they are doing is asking for money in the schools and not at the door.

Pregnant underage girls??? Because they obviously must have had the best parental support to this point! All of the posts I am seeing all over the internet about unicef supporting abortion are either seriously misinformed or just plain ignorant. Family planning does not equate to abortion. Besides that, abortions are going to happen whether they are safe or not (and many of them will be at the hands of those 'supportive parents'). That is the real issue. Somebody has to treat the complications and the social problems. While your out here dickering on your self righteous pedestals, real people are suffering. What are you really doing to help?
