Bending over backwards - for what?

This quote from David Gifford, chief executive of the Council of Christians and Jews, in response to the Pope's new (and questionably) improved Good Friday prayer, just goes to show there's no point trying to appease them by watering down our liturgy. What they need is our prayers, not our submission.

David Gifford, chief executive of the Council of Christians and Jews, said: “I am saddened. They could have gone much further and built on the work of the Second Vatican Council.

Cry me a river, David. It's our Mass you're messing with.

Mr. Gifford--

We're Catholic. Get used to it.

Eh, waddya gonna do? As long as the heretics and blind, faithless Jews are still upset about it, I'm ok with it.

We've already had Our Mass Watered Down By Protestants & Masons, in the "Form" of The Novus Ordo Mass:

ENOUGH!

My view is, if the Pope gives in on this, and changes the Old Mass because it makes Jews uncomfortable, what makes us think it will stop there?

What if Joe Novusordo decides something in the mass offends him? I think this is a bad precedent to set.

They shouldn't be monkeying around with it.

And why does this change come so fast? Especially when we've had the "pro multis" debate since forever...
