Vanishing Point or Gone in 60 Seconds?
What do you all ( I mean y'all) think of this 2008 retro Dodge Challenger? I saw one a few weeks ago, and I'm tempted. I didn't test drive it, mainly because there were no sales people willing to come out in the torrential downpour and get soaking wet. (They do have umbrellas, don't they?) There was no sticker price, either, and I haven't had a chance to go back yet.
I hear it only gets 18 MPG, so I'm betting that the sticker price is pretty negotiable right now. Yeah, I know it's got a 6.1-liter Hemi V8, but I just like orange cars I guess. They are so easy to find in a huge parking lot. Even with sunglasses on!
Just dreaming, I guess. I'll probably keep the Mustang. After all, it is orange.

i liked deep blue cars. always have:) frank wants a gas guzzler, the jeep liberty. he loves anything jeep. maybe at tax time:) for now, the pt has to do. even though the oil light blings all the time, and drives me nuts:) i keep telling him he needs to get a car like a honda that is good on gas. but no, he wants a gas guzzling jeep. :) oh well:)
that is one cool car pmg. Are you going to test drive it?
therese, she owns the one she is sitting in:)
Mopar for me! Love the Challenger. I've been looking at the retro Charger, but it didn't look quite right. I think they hit the mark with the Challenger though.
My commute ride is orange, a very yellow orange. If interested you can see a nice picture here It's not a gas guzzler. :)
I'd be tempted, too. It is a very nice car. The again, you have a nice car as well!
I've been driving my gas-guzzler for almost four years and now I'm ready to move to something that is more fuel efficient.
(Just between you and me, my truck takes a 40 gallon tank. Shhhhh....don't tell anybody. I'm embarrassed.)
Maybe if there's no sticker price, you're supposed to be too rich to care...?
Nice wheels, Owen! I bet you get excellent mileage on that one - and a good workout too!
And I have a second vehicle for winter that's a slate grey with fenders and all. My kids call it the hummer-bike.
